Is No a default setting that requires challenging? Or is No a safety net to saying we don’t understand?

“Three spins of the teapot doesn’t make black tea-it depends on the type of tea”

This week I am down in Mackay and I decided to take on Alison call to
Redo my goals.  (Mining conferences are great places to make notes and clarify what I want to achieve.)
After another (look what we have done meeting) I posed a past question, which the whole group has pushed into the too hard basket and watched one bloke answer a question, with no answer, intention or action plan.
Then we were asked to vote on it!

At the lunch break, everyone was glad they had made a decision.
I asked what was the decision?
The answer was I am not sure, but at least that part is finished.  We voted No!
Why did you vote know?
I think the big Boss’s have most of the answers so I voted with them, I know where my bread is buttered!
Hop into a new career today

After lunch I sat down to call back a prospect after viewing the BOC.  He said to me that
1.     He supposed he had to make decision
2.     He wanted to change his circumstances
3.     It was necessary for him to make the change
4.     Then decided not to move forward
I asked why?
I will say no, just incase I make the wrong decision.
I asked what if No is the wrong the decision?
Well, it is better to say no because then nothing can really happen, can it!

I decided no was probably going to be my answer as well.

 But it had me thinking………….

Is No a default setting that requires challenging?
Or is No a safety net to saying we don’t understand?

We are a very lucky group of people in Polaris Global we get to challenge No and all the past and new ideas as a part of our DMO.

Giving people a strategy to challenge themselves is one of the many reasons I bought this business.  Giving people the confidence to stand outside the herd and challenge what they being told is another.

Are you ready to challenge your past and present ideas to create the change you are desiring?

Are you Expecting to be successful or are Anticipation your success!

Anticipation and Expectation- what an amazing break through.

Again another amazing breaks through.  Since Super Saturday I have found more pieces to the puzzle and today Shane Krider has again drop another realization into my lap and I can’t wait to try out this new idea.
I cannot count the number of times I have mentioned in all forms of my business the expectation.  In the weekly address my CEO delivers the word expectation is ever present.
I can’t wait to share this idea with my team and as my CEO was on the call this morning the Skype messages we sent back and forth was amazing.
Follow me on Facebook
When you look at expectation there is an
  • ·      Applied pressure
  • ·      A deadline
  • ·      A unproven result
  • ·      A judgment
  • ·      An air of fear

Of which I have never even noticed, because I expect to create results and I keep going until I do.
(Back after sharing the idea with my Company)
Anticipation dictionary meaning
I am anticipating your will click here

  • ·      Foresee
  • ·      Await
  • ·      Predict
  • ·      Look for to
  • ·      Be hopeful of

After a great chat discussing using anticipation and expectation.
My understanding of Expectation was to create urgency, a definite time line result and a control. (My nemesis)
My understanding of Anticipation was being wished full, no determined deadline, and an unpredictable outcome, without some form of pressure.

·      Then I realized there is no control in either, other than the applied actions.
·      There is still urgency in both because you desire the result.
·      Both outcomes are inevitable in my mind with or without any set time
I thought it didn't hurt
·      Expectation is a measured outcome which rarely is achieved
·      Anticipation is a consist evolution- it never stops

The Uncovered Belief.

Expectations are sometimes hard goals to achieve, because as a Boss you ask your team to rise to the challenge and you challenge yourself to deliver more and more at a better and more competitive manner.  Hence continually apply slight form of pain to create the outcome.

  • ·      I actually increase the pain load to get the result.
  • ·       I increase the expectation to levels where it hurts to receive the results.
  • ·       I have just discovered I am driven by pain not by pleasure because I have never seen or had that element in my life, but I am anticipating that this is all about to change starting today.

Do you anticipate a great result or expect a great result!

Is a Traditional Business better than a Non Traditional Business

Direct Sales the next Booming Business

What is the difference between the traditional business and the online business?

  • Online Businesses,
  • working from jobs,
  •  business opportunities,
  •  work online,
  • Internet marketing,
  • Network marketing all get thrown into Work from Home Businesses or Jobs.

What about

Discover a new Career
  • Self Employed Business,
  • Couriers
  • Taxi Drivers
  • Farmers
  • Carpenters,
  • Plumbers
  • Electricians

These guys aren't placed in the "work from Home field" yet all of them actually  process there work from home but deliver there service elsewhere
When we look at any Online Business they too can operate from anywhere, at any time as long as there is an Internet connection.
Both groups actually work online to advertise, research, find new clients, sell there products and invest in new ideas.  So what is actually the big difference?

Traditional Businesses

Is a Home Business Traditional
  • have more competition
  • More regulations
  • Great expense to get started
  • You have to bring your skills and training
  • You need varying forms a accreditation
  • You have a structure hour of work
  • You can build them up and expand and sell later down the track.

Non Traditional Businesses

  • Still have a great competitions, because you are competing against the might goggle
  • You have advertising disclaimers for some platforms
  • You can have great expense if you get caught in the newbie trap of buying $37 programs
  • You have a new set of skills to learn, keyword bidding, website content, SEO, SEM
  • You have to find credibility to put with your websites
  • Your hours are open, but how do you sell to some one who is sleeping
  • Most Online businesses never get sold as a going concern

OK, you have now read the flaws in both arguments.  Both business models have similar costs.  How do I know I own both types.  Here are the questions only you can answer.

  1. Can the business model I choose deliver me the results I am looking to achieve
  2. With my list of goals for myself, my business, my charities, my family can they be created from the business I choose.
  3. Is the product or service I want to provide, going to add value to me, my business, my community.
  4. Can this business expand and be a saleable item at the end of it's time
  5. Can this business still grow without me being in it?
There is a very valid reason as to why 90% of businesses fail before five reason.
These people bought a JOB- to get away from a JOB

I am Perfectly Positioned to Profit.

I have just headed home for our bangtail muster this week.  I have been shifting cattle around and getting to spend some quality time back in the saddle and thank god for iPhones, I have had ideas flow into my head as clear as crystal.

Flying Stockman coming back to check the tail.

We have received a bit rain and our numbers are lower than normal but they are all looking great.  We went OK through the past 3-year drought and we are Perfectly Positioned to Profit.

The words Perfectly Positioned to Profit are written on my white board above my desk back in Townsville.  I wrote them up there the day I became a M8 distributer for Polaris Global.  It was my first major goal I had to achieve.

The Kelpies are watching the herd.

This is what every person who joins Polaris Global should be doing, Positioning your self to Profit.  That means getting to a M8 level as quick as you can and start building the organization.  Many of us (me) saw the big picture early even though it has been a learning curve of different levels and pressures, I am grateful to have learnt it (I would not have said that 5 years ago).

However as I ride around these cattle I have a glint in my eye and knowing that this Station, My Business and My Goals are all Perfectly Positioned to Profit, thanks to the BFE program and a better way of thinking.

Are you positioned to profit?
