One of my hobbies is training sheep dogs. Being a softie for Kelpies sheep dog pups, I couldn’t wait until they were old enough to teach.
One of my pet hates is sheep dogs that don’t come to their own names or they come to everyone elses names. So I teach them to only answer to their name when they were pups.
Normally I would have 6 pups and when I would feed them , I had them tired up around the yard and as you called the name of the pup, I would spray the other pups who came to the wrong name.
After about 2 weeks the pups soon worked out what there name was and where they needed to be.
Most of the pups gain the confidence to go to the chain.
This is very similar to the Starting a business with The Home Business Entrepreneurs. You are so keen to learn and get going, you will step on, or over step your mark in the pursuit of achieving greater results.
The interesting aspect in this training was the personalities of the pups,
• A few pups would still try every chain
• Some pups would try once and sit back
• Some pups would wait until the rest were tired up
• Some pups would do nothing

• Some of us, do nothing and hope for the best
The question is, which pup do you want to be?
