Are you Expecting to be successful or are Anticipation your success!

Anticipation and Expectation- what an amazing break through.

Again another amazing breaks through.  Since Super Saturday I have found more pieces to the puzzle and today Shane Krider has again drop another realization into my lap and I can’t wait to try out this new idea.
I cannot count the number of times I have mentioned in all forms of my business the expectation.  In the weekly address my CEO delivers the word expectation is ever present.
I can’t wait to share this idea with my team and as my CEO was on the call this morning the Skype messages we sent back and forth was amazing.

When you look at expectation there is an
  • ·      Applied pressure
  • ·      A deadline
  • ·      A unproven result
  • ·      A judgment
  • ·      An air of fear

Of which I have never even noticed, because I expect to create results and I keep going until I do.

  • ·      Foresee
  • ·      Await
  • ·      Predict
  • ·      Look for to
  • ·      Be hopeful of

After a great chat discussing using anticipation and expectation.
My understanding of Expectation was to create urgency, a definite time line result and a control. (My nemesis)
My understanding of Anticipation was being wished full, no determined deadline, and an unpredictable outcome, without some form of pressure.

·      Then I realized there is no control in either, other than the applied actions.
·      There is still urgency in both because you desire the result.
·      Both outcomes are inevitable in my mind with or without any set time
I thought it didn't hurt
·      Expectation is a measured outcome which rarely is achieved
·      Anticipation is a consist evolution- it never stops

The Uncovered Belief.

Expectations are sometimes hard goals to achieve, because as a Boss you ask your team to rise to the challenge and you challenge yourself to deliver more and more at a better and more competitive manner.  Hence continually apply slight form of pain to create the outcome.

  • ·      I actually increase the pain load to get the result.
  • ·       I increase the expectation to levels where it hurts to receive the results.
  • ·       I have just discovered I am driven by pain not by pleasure because I have never seen or had that element in my life, but I am anticipating that this is all about to change starting today.

Do you anticipate a great result or expect a great result!
