3 Personal Development Strategies to change your life forever!

Everybody has something they want to change, create or become.  Today I want to share a 3 simple little Personal Development Strategies which can change your life today, without

  • spending any money
  • learning something way out or far fetched
  • time consuming to implement
Jim Rohn the grand father of Personal Development Strategies states
"you work harder on yourself, then the results will appear"

Tony Robins the Highly Effective Personal Development Motivator states
"change your state of mind now"

Dr John De martini the Intellectual Personal Development Strategist states
"find your effectiveness and act with intention.

  • Now I am not comparing myself to these great Personal Development Coaches.
  • I have been studying the art of Personal Development Strategies for only 6 years.
  • I have been able to turn around a major financial debt into a roaring profit.
How ever I was asked to find 3 fundamental Personal Development Strategies that anyone reading this today could begin to make a change in their life today.  They are

  1. Don't live your struggle.
  2. Focus on your desire.
  3. Speak to your self better
Now I know you were probably looking for something amazing to fix the challenges you are facing.  But in the words of the late Zig Ziglar "I can't fix your problems, but I have some strategies to show you how I changed my life."

2009 -2014 have been Interesting times for me. GFC, Cyclones, Fires,  family issues, debt and self sabotage.  These have all be brought on by living the struggle.

When you live the struggle, you have justification.

You can always find some one and something to blame.

So you start to create a pattern of destruction, and in the back of your mind you have planted the seed that it isn't your fault, because..................
I sat down on November 30 and looked at the results I hadn't achieved and the number of Personal Development Strategies I had learnt over the years and thought this stuff is bloody crap........
Life just has to better than the struggle I am having.
  • It doesn't really work
  • By now I should be a genius
  • I should be at the top of my game
  • I should feel on top of the world
I realised one major thing on November 30.  I was doing something very wrong and I was going to change it and end 2014 on November 30 and Start to 2015 on December 1.

On my white boards I wrote these three words NO MORE STRUGGLE.  I have all the Personal Development Strategies in the amazing business I bought because I loved the program.  Now use it and make it matter.
Within 5 days of choosing to follow this rule of no more struggle I felt the pressure release.  On the release came the old desire but with clear vision.

I blogged on what my vision is and applied the Personal Development Strategies I had learnt in the Business Program and another precise decision came to my mind.

Make sure your focus is clear and in action each day no matter what the results bring.

I look back today and laugh at what I was trying to create, in a milky pond of clarity.  Just as I  a got a good feeling or result happened, it got swept up by the struggles I decided to live.  There was no way the goal or result could be achieved when your focus is black.

I went back to the white board and wrote Focus On Your Desire. Be Clear, Fresh ,Excited Everyday. Again the change was evident within the 5 days.

I decide this year to Try a new Goal Selecting idea.
Pick 3 goals and focus on them this year.
  • Warren Buffet says write down all the things you want to achieve and choose three.
  • Shane Krider says select goals you can achieve without time lines and get into action now
So I blended them together with my new Personal Development Strategies and after many hours of reading my journal entries and seeing me bash myself with my words, decide to speak to myself better and again I wrote it on the white boards as a reminder.  Speak to Your Self Better

Now I am a hard task master, impatience, hot headed and very results driven and when I don't achieve I am extremely hard on myself.  I believe I have the ability to achieve anything I am taught, but I did discover that my self talk has held me back more than once and in my journal entries I discover a rather interesting pattern.

"I selected goals which were big, backed by justification and sabotaged the results I was meant to receive."

One would ask why would you do that to yourself?
Honestly I didn't know I was, because I was living the struggle, clouding the focus and emotional bashing  myself.

Bold Decisions create big results
  • I had been studying for the last 6 years,
  • why didn't they work
  • why didn't I see this sooner
Three simple things.
Living in the struggle ...caused a lack of focus..... leading to bad self talk
